I have had this mat now for about 3 months. And the mat has held up pretty well after countless washes. It is very comfortable. Fits in my bathroom extremely well. And there is no smell that comes off of the rug after you use it. And overall looks great. However, the fatal floor that this rug has, which I’m not sure if it is related to the tile floor that I have in my bathroom. Is that the non-slip coating that is on the underside of the rug is not always reliable. I have had instances where I would get into the shower Aunt. The rug would slip from behind me. Luckily entering into my shower is a very short distance so I’m able to support myself on the walls. But this is an issue that can cause a concern and possibly could lead to a serious injury. I hope that the manufacturer going forward could produce and stronger holding non-slip coating on the underside of the mat. So that this issue will not lead to someone getting seriously injured in the future.

This is the second Gorilla rug I have purchased. They are soft, absorbent and good looking.
Most importantly they are completely non slip. If you want to move the rug you need to pick it up and move it. You can’t push it around with your foot, as you can with other rugs.
Also, the first one I purchased years ago still looks new.

These are pretty absorbant and also dry quickly. Very soft on my feet, and easy to wash. They stay put for the most part. The corners don’t curl up like my last set. Overall very good quality

We’ve had several of these Gorilla Grip bathmats in a couple colors and two sizes over the years. We use the 30x20s for what they’re intended (bath/shower mats) on our tile. We love both the look and feel BUT make sure you don’t wash or dry on *hot*–that decreases the non-slip grip. As per manufacturer instructions, use medium heat and you’ll never have a problem. We’ve had a couple of these for a couple years with absolutely no slip problems, which is vital for one of us with decreased leg/foot function. We also use a 48×24 on our leather couch for our aging Labrador. One color matches the leather really well. When company arrives, we just fold it up and don’t have to check the couch further. The mat protects the couch surface from various old dog problems, is easy to wash, keeps him warmer on the leather, and gives him a bit of grip, making it easier for him to get up on, or down from, the couch. the protection is great; I’m about to order one for his dog bed as well to throw over it, give him a better grip getting in and out, and protect the hard-to-remove-and-wash cover. Our cats also love these mats, often lying down on them. We may end up using smaller ones for the cats as they age, too.

Needed a non-skid bath mat for the small step-in shower in our 1st floor bathroom after a family member’s surgery. This fit the space, is comfy under foot, seems absorbent, yet dries quickly.
It’s too fluffy to leave next to the shower, since it would prevent the door to the bathroom from opening, but it’s easy to move out of the way.

Sorry to be writing a negative review. However, I am disappointed in these mats. I purchased both the bath mat. & the square shaped toilet mat. Neither stays in place. moves about constantly. I have real marble floors, so I hesitate to use a type of adhesive disc as they may discolour the white marble.
