I love love love the color of my tumbler. Its so fun and cool to use. Very durable. Not easily to scratch. I love that I can lock the lid and water stays inside. No spillage when I throw it in my work bag nor when I turn it upside down. Im thrilled that its not heavy when filled with water, very comfortable to hold and carry.
I left ice inside and it last for the entire day. Probably would have lasted longer but I emptied it when I got home.
I also have a yeti, but so far I prefer Brumate. Its cuter and spill resistant. Thrilled to have this tumbler.

I was never interested in the Stanley cup and always thought they were silly and overhyped. I saw this water bottle in the store though and my mind started to change. I decided to order one from Amazon that day and I am NOT disappointed. I got the 40 oz version, which I thought might be too big for me since I have small hands, but it’s perfect and I’m so glad I went with it. The color is perfect since I love mint green, it’s easy to hold (even when it’s full it’s really not too heavy), and it’s 100% leak proof. I filled up the entire bottle with water and ice, made sure the lid was locked, turned it upside down and no leaks whatsoever. It keeps my water cold for 12+ hours (it doesn’t keep ice in there for that long, but the drink is still cold). It has a nonslip grip on the bottom, fits in a cup holder easily, it’s easy to sip from and it’s easy to clean. It’s perfect. HIGHLY recommend.

I have been on the hunt for a good tumbler with straw that meets my below requirements:
1) Includes a handle for easy carrying around the house, car, and in the office
2) Fits in car cup holder
3) Ice stays in tact for at least 8hrs
4) DOES NOT LEAK with provided lid!
5) Dishwasher safe
6) Easy to clean
7) Easy to unscrew lid – this should be a given with every company, but it’s not.
8) Company is environmentally conscious
I literally own Yeti, Stanley, Iron Flask, Owala, and Hydro Flask. When it comes to this style of tumbler, this BruMate Era is hands down the best. Especially when it comes to not leaking. What’s great is that it comes with a turn dial to lock/seal it when you are not using it, and it really works for preventing ANY spills. I have also tested it overnight and the ice was still fully formed, showing that it had melted very little in 8hrs.
STRONGLY recommend, especially for those with kids that take the leaking Stanley’s to school, resulting in teachers asking them to leave them at home.

I am absolutely in love with this tumbler!
I have not been interested in jumping onto the Stanley bandwagon. I had plenty of cold cups I already wasn’t using. I had also recently bought another smaller steel water bottle in another popular brand that I thought I preferred. (and then I only used it once, fearful part will break).
So I saw ads for this gorgeous Brümate Era tumbler and I was in love with the design and the fact that it was leak proof! I was sold and have been eagerly waiting for mine to arrive since.
Arrived today and wow it’s beautiful..The color is even more amazing in person! And it’s “soft”. Smooth. It feels nice and it very nicely shaped, and comfortable to hold. I am sure it will fit in my car drink holder nicely.
Did the “turn upside down” test, and sure enough there is no leaking whatsoever. I admit I haven’t tested this much but I have read alot of reviews if people just throwing it in their bag without worrying. That’s perfect for someone as clumsy as me. Always a mess no matter what I do.
The straw is metal which really is better especially when your bottle is also metal. I love the silicone drinking and, as metal always hurts my teeth.. This is the perfect solution.
The lid is easy to remove, take apart, and clean, including removing the straw. Very streamlined, very simple design..Beautifully made.
As far as how long the ice stays frozen…what the packaging says is that the more ice you add the longer is stays cold..I don’t need it to last multiple days. I simply need it to stay cold all day, and given the double walled insulation I have no doubt my drink will stay cold all day.
I was worried about the weight. It’s a nice metal cup, there is some expected weight but it seems like it is perfectly balanced weight, it that makes sense. Filled with water/ice it gets heavier. But…what else can you expect with a 40 oz metal cup with ice and liquid?
One more feature that sold me on this cup was being able to add carbonated beverages..I drink a lot of sparkling water and am excited this is designed to hold that as well no problem. the included instructions state that pressure will build up with carbonation, and to open slowly to break the seal.
I look forward to being able to show this cup to others. It’s wonderful and I’m so glad I purchased it!

Like many, I love having a large quantity of ice-cold water perpetually at my fingertips. I never bought into the Stanley hype, but I have a 32 oz Thermoflask cup with a straw that I kept with me at all times. However, it wasn’t spill-proof at all so it didn’t work well for traveling, going to my kid’s sporting events, beach days, etc. I had a smaller water bottle that sealed that I traveled with but it wasn’t enough water for me.
I wanted something that could hold a lot of water, keep it cold, fit in a cup holder, and be put into a beach bag, backpack, or tote bag without spilling. Bonus points if it was easy to wash and didn’t feel ridiculously oversized.
I got the 40 oz Era cup because my sister has a Brumate coffee tumbler and loves it, and this cup checks every box! I can turn it upside down and shake it while it’s completely full of ice water and not a drop comes out. Drinking out of it feels smooth and it keeps the water cold. It washes easy and is dishwasher safe on the top rack. I got it in the sage color and it’s pretty. It also barely feels bigger than my 32 oz Thermoflask cup even though it hold 8 oz more liquid. I am a Brumate believer!
I did order the magnetic straw caps from the Brumate site and they haven’t arrived yet, but I wish they carried those on Amazon. Hint hint!

This cup does everything that it says it does. Leak proof tested. Very expensive…but worth it if it’s something you use everyday. Better than Stanley or Yeti
