My last pair of slippers from the same manufacturer did not have a rubber sole and after 6 months the sole wore thin and developed a hole in the back heel. This recently purchased model however seems more durable and I like the feel of the sole. Only time will tell and hope they will, at least, last twice as long.

These LongBay Slippers are really nice. I’m not (yet) currently diagnosed with anything but I have had foot issues for most of my life. Diabetes do run in my family which so far, I’m clear of. Although I do seem to have occasional symptoms like tender, swelling feet. I always need to buy wide-toe shoes and these indeed have a roomy enough fit for me. The adjustable velcro flaps work well and no matter how I adjust them, the slippers feel secure on my feet when walking. As one can assume, creating adjustable shoes creates a challenge in looking appealing. But besides function, they actually look stylish, too. They are well stitched and made with seemingly quality materials. I especially love how flexible they are. I can crouch and bend with no issues, yet the bottom is firm enough to offer good protection. They feel really soft on the inside for the most part, including a lot of cushion on the bottom. It’s worth noting that the bottom and inner cushion create a platform so they do make you a bit taller. I prefer to wear any footwear with socks as I’m sensitive to things rubbing on my feet. These are no different, as I find the ribbed edges slightly bothersome but this could just be a me issue.
One worrisome thing I discovered when I was walking around my property is how unsafe it felt to walk across slopes. One side of my house has a significant slope going away from it. When walking parallel to the house, I could barely walk in these because my feet kept slipping off the soles. Since the only harder material is the bottom, there is nothing keeping your feet secure on the sides which leads to you sliding right out. I’ve never had a problem before with anything else but maybe it’s common for slippers like this? But considering these are also for outdoors, it can potentially be a safety issue. It’s unfortunate because I love everything else about these slippers. I would just recommend staying away from walking perpendicular to any hills. It’s also worth noting, although it’s less important, these aren’t hands free slip-ons. You can slip your feet into some shoes/slippers even when they don’t say (NOTE: these do not promise this) but these you do need to get a grip on the heel to help get your foot in. It’s not a big deal to me but it might be to others.

Material shifts to much.
Twisted my ankle.
Maybe velcro cross back over can stabilize and balance.

Fits well for wide applications seem to be more durable and comfortable than the slippers I’ve worn in the past the sole if the shoes grip better as well the footbed is soft and the outer part of the shoe is a soft foam the velcro closure is easy to set the tension as you prefer However if you have a high arch you may want to conduct arch supports for them

I bought these for an elderly neighbor. The type of shoe is easy for him to put on and is flexible enough for his very swollen feet and ankles. Given the rubber soles, he can wear them outside. And with colder months coming, he can wear socks with this shoe. Great price and a comfortable shoe for anyone with swollen feet and ankles. Thank you Amazon for your prompt delivery..

I absolutely love the adjustable sides. Must make sure (as with any shoes) the ok overall fit is s right. Very comfortable and love the support.

Nice to have the ability to adjust the tightness; soles have good grip on most floor surfaces

These slippers have a very soft interior are lightweight, and offer good traction. They are easy to put on and take off but are a bit larger than size indicates. They are ok in appearance (the color is nice) but don’t offer much for arch support. The other negative is they don’t fit very high on my heal so my foot doesn’t feel well protected, however they have substantial padding.
