I ordered these for a trip where I expect to do a lot of walking. Unfortunately, I can’t even get my foot into these so I can’t offer any kind of opinion regarding comfort.
As for appearance, they look like the picture. I don’t know about the metal trim as it’s nicely covered in tissue paper which I didn’t remove since it was obvious I’d be returning them.
I’m scratching Life Stride off my list of shoes I can order on line.
