I recently purchased the Hey Dude Men’s Wally Lace-Up Loafers, and they have quickly become my go-to shoes for almost any occasion. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:
#### Comfort and Fit
These loafers are incredibly comfortable. The moment I slipped them on, I felt the difference. The Flex & Fold technology used in the sole makes walking a pleasure, as if I’m stepping on clouds. The lightweight design means my feet don’t feel tired even after wearing them all day.
#### Design and Style
The Wally loafers come in a variety of colors and patterns, so there’s something for everyone. I opted for a neutral color which matches well with both casual and semi-formal outfits. The no-tie elastic laces are a game-changer, making them easy to slip on and off without compromising on fit.
#### Durability
Despite their lightweight feel, these shoes are quite durable. I’ve worn them in various conditions, including light rain, and they have held up well. The chambray upper is breathable and easy to clean, which adds to their longevity.

These have a really great cushion on the sole, and are breathable so your feet do not sweat, which I like. These are perfect for a fall day and do not require socks, however, you run the risk of them starting to get a little stinky. The fuzz around the heel keeps your ankles warm and snug, while the rest of the shoe fabric is thick and structured with a bumpy texture.
If you want to slip your foot in and bend the backs down, you can as they bend back perfectly, but I like to wear these fully on my foot each time for most comfort. The elastic on the tops are great too, if you need to make them a little tighter.
These pretty much go with everything being black, and the aztec pattern on the back heel is small, and is faded black, gray, orange, and red.

I got these for my significant another for his birthday and he absolutely loves these. He wears them all the time. He loves how comfortable they are. They fit really well. The only thing he struggles with is the ties. Sometimes he ties them a little too tight. But overall I think that’s user error. They look really nice. They’re very clean. They’re great for any events whether that’s walking going to a wedding, going to a party, anything like that. They’re very comfortable. He absolutely adores these.

I had to write a review due to the fact I seen so many bad reviews about these shoes when I got mine, I was like OH! WOW!!! Really!!! 😃 and trust me, they’re amazing!
BUT! Yes this shoe is like wearing sox!
It’s “not” a work shoe by no means! You would know that right when you put them on! It’s super soft and super comfortable!!!
Yes can Do:
– Lay around the house.
– Go to the pool! (Slip resistant)
– Trip to the store!
– Picking up a box or getting the mail!
– Go to the door in style while greeting the Amazon delivery driver or pizza person!
– Never get a hole walking on the porch/deck early morning coffee retreat like “ahh, it feels good ya”
You might have to take them away from your cat if you don’t keep them well guarded!
These are between a slipper and a shoe type of footwear. They feel like sox though and they wear like shoes.
They’re like Soc/Slippers with a bit more protection and looks like a shoe!
However not recommend wearing these to bed, like you would/could wear sox in that case! Sox are not out of business yet people!
So yah it could be called something like Shoxes (Shoe/Sox) because that’s basically what they are and how you feel when you put them on!
Super comfortable, very nice looking, lightweight, easy to put on and anti slip resistant in most cases unless you’re walking on gravelly surfaces or dirt.
But, if you’re looking for something to go to work in, or play in the mud, running a mile, climbing rocks, walking through a river all things you wouldn’t do while wearing sox or slippers then this shoe is not for you or that!
No Do Not:
– Walk on ice, loose gravel, through any oil or messy spills (maybe only water depending on the surface because it does feel like they were anti slip in my kitchen on water but was slippery after walking on dirt at the store)
– Walking on anything over a 1/4 inch spill may cause them to absorb into the side of the shoe.
– So… NO! You don’t want to go in the rain with them on either.
– YES they can rip easily (you don’t want to go to work in these shoes or walking through a field of any kind).
I highly recommend these shoes to anyone just chillin in an everyday relaxing environment!
– Like going on a cruise or to a friends house, maybe to the bar, going to college, in a retirement home, maybe to things like bingo or if you’re on the computer definitely, even just going to the mall really. It’s ideal.
What it’s not for are things like camping, going to the beach, the gym, skydiving, company meetings or to work at all really and definitely not to go fish in maybe sailing idk it’s optional but not highly recommend. Don’t leave them outside they might get damaged or leaving them at a friends house they actually might get stolen!
They’re very SOFT around the foot but snug so I ordered a size larger and they came back perfect!!!
