These shoes are pretty true to the sizing! And yes they are waterproof. The comfort of this shoe is just alright, I’d recommend getting some different insoles, but after a 10 hour day my feet don’t ache like they used to. I would purchase these again.

These shoes are awesome in every way! I wore these on a 3 day metal detecting relic hunt, and it rained of course! I was skeptical when I saw the mesh material on these shoes, but through 3 days of rain, and wet grass, walking through puddles, my feet stayed dry! These shoes outperformed my rain jacket! I also wear them for my work in Pest Control, walking in wet grass every morning, and my feet are always dry!
These shoes are very comfortable, and my feet don’t get all sweaty after wearing them all day long. These are a 100 percent great buy! When these get worn out, I will definitely be ordering them again. No need to order a size up or down, the sizing was spot on too! These are awesome shoes in every way!

These boots are high quality, well made, very sturdy boots that also look great. I really like ’em.
The only slight negative is that after wearing them about 20 times over several months for yard work and general walking around, they are still quite stiff. So in the: Rugged Comfortable spectrum, looks like Columbia used denser materials to make these boots more on the rugged end of the spectrum, built to handle any rugged terrain. So these are not like running shoes.
If you’re buying these for a hiking / outdoors trip, I strongly advise wearing them several months before your trip to break them in.
I paired these boots with Feel Life inserts which are half-inch thick, lots of cushion. Knowing I’d use thick inserts, I bought these boots size 9 (US). My actual shoe size is 8.5 (US). The half-size larger shoe fits my foot perfectly with the half-inch insert. I recommend this combination.
Highly recommend these boots for serious outdoor work or play like hiking in rocky areas. If you plan to just do casual day hikes and yard work, I’d buy a different pair of boots that are more comfortable, half-size larger than your normal shoe size together with Feel Life inserts.

Bought this shoe especially for a trip to Europe this winter. Very comfortable even if worn for an entire day. Received it a few days before my trip, delivery was really quick, thank you

I am very pleased with these shoes. Due to my foot nerve pain, I am extremely picky with shoes. These shoes, I am very comfortable in them even after walking 3-4 miles. Amazingly water proof, but my feet don’t get sweaty. Apparently these shoes are very breathable. Best walking/hiking shoes under $70!!

It was Surprisingly comfortable and sturdy, I use these shoes for climbing and also after that I walk with them about 30.000 paces in two days! because I didn’t have my sneakers with me on trip, these shoes is as comfy as sneakers are for walking !! I highly recommend these shoes .

Not great. From the reviews I hoped for more. Not sure if there was a manufacturing defect but extremely uncomfortable on the outer ball of the foot (near the little toes). It felt like the support and padding was lacking, and the tred was pushing through (sensation, can’t speak to what’s really going on in there.). Felt it on both.
There was also some minor rubbing on the back of the ankle (low socks and may improve with wear in.)
Ultimately returning.
For comparison, I have had Merrell and Keen.
The low ankle Merrel Moabs were crazy durable but needed an insert to make comfortable. The Keen Targhees were crazy comfortable with great support but didn’t last half as long.
I like the idea of a low cost sneaker style hiking shoe … still looking
