Ordered the gray. (Though these are offered in purple too, the gray has a distinct lavender undertone–not a charcoal or true neutral gray). I didn’t have too high of expectations for these because previous items I’ve purchased from this brand were pretty meh. But upon arrival I was quite impressed by the build quality and the smooth, durable feel of these. One of the rare purchases that looks more expensive in person than online. Frameless glasses already kinda had their day… but yet there’s a nice classic vibe about these that I really enjoy. I typically dress casually but these work with lots of looks and are understated but not boring.

As for fit, I was too lazy to measure my other favorite pairs of glasses to see what the fit comparison would be (and no pictures on any models here either) so I was a little bummed that they turned out to be rather small. Perhaps I am just accustomed to oversized eyewear so these seem dramatically smaller than they truly are. But if you have a petite face these will be ideal. If you’re looking to cover your eyebrows and tops of cheeks, this pair ain’t it….

I wish these cute cat eyes were about 20% darker because as far as sun-blocking and protection? Yeah, not so much. I’d call these lightly tinted at best, not really true “sunglasses” by the average definition. Again, milage will vary because if you like your eye makeup to still be visible, these will provide that. While they are a bit too small for my slightly fuller face and not dark enough, the build quality and comfort factor (paired with my husband saying over and over how cool they looked) convinced me to keep them. Lastly, I don’t care if i’m wearing a luxury item or something from the dollar store, I absolutely hate branding on any of my accessories…so huge points for these being utterly void of any external branding or markings of any kind.
