The fit and look of these are okay. The color is a little reminiscent of what firearms people will encounter trying to build something with several shades of FDE. This is on the paler end of the spectrum – more like … prosthetic limb beige than a desert tan. I’m actually okay with the color as it contrasts well with darker jeans. The extra laces are a nice touch, however if I had one complaint – it’s the tread pattern … it’s almost non-existent. The majority of it are like diamond checkering you’d find on a hunting rifle – which you know will wear away pretty quickly. I’m going to relegate this pair for “trendy indoor wear” at most to get the most I can out of the soles.
JAWs –
These are surprisingly comfortable for a steel-toed work boot. I got the size 11, though I normally take a size 10.5 but I didn’t see a 10.5 size available. The size 11 fits great though, and with typically thicker work socks on, it provides just the right amount of room for my feet. These kind of look like a military style boot in this lighter color. They are indeed lightweight and provide the extra protection in the toe area. And they were a good price at the time of this review.

These boots are in a great price point for the quality. My husband wanted them for a trip, and even picky him, thinks they are nice.
