lays out and secures the carpet.

I use this to help keep some foam-ish puzzle piece sheets from sliding over a wood floor. It works fine. Nothing special about the product though, you can find this in any hardware store.

I bought the 8×10 for my new rug and it’s even bigger than the rug which is great because you can just cut the excess with some scissors. So far the rug hasn’t moved an inch, it also makes it very comfortable. If you get a large format like an 8×10 it would make your life a lot easier to have someone help you, I find it’s a two people job to make it nice and flat on the floor and then lay your rug over top while keeping it flush to the ground.

I ordered several of these pads in small sizes for area rugs 3 yrs ago and they have lasted well while doing their intended job at keeping the small rugs from slipping. I needed to replace the worn-out felt pad under a more serious Persian rug and thought I’d try the product again- mostly because it’s so easy to order here. This time I’m using two pads to get closer to a felt pad’s thickness and it is working out quite well. The two pads give a nice, springy feel, for less than half the price of a new felt pad. Not sure about how longevity will compare; only time will tell on that score. For right now, I’m pleased with the new application.

It holds the rug in place. Don’t use it on a floppy reversible small mat.

My 93-year-old mother was having a problem with her mattress shifting back and forth on the box springs. It had to be adjusted numerous times a day, every day. I decided to give this rug pad a try and it works perfectly! The mattress has not moved at all since I put it on about 8 days ago. Everyone is very happy!

I have a 130 lb cane corso and my rug would constantly slide all over the hardwood when she gets up or runs. Putting this rug gripper underneath it keeps it in place. There is not a sticky residue left on the floor that is nice. I have bought some sticky corner pads before that leave marks on the floor and are hard to remove. Great pad for the money.

Before putting this under that mattress, simply getting into bed could shift things 6 inches. After putting the pad in place, the mattress does not even wiggle. The sheets do not come untucked.
I had to cut this to size for a queen sized mattress, despite ordering a queen sized pad.

I got this to be under one of my rugs and it literally it does its job at grips. It doesn’t move just does its job. The only thing was that it was a little smelly like it. Kind of smelled factory chemically and I’ve had the Pad for a couple weeks now and it the room still kinda smells faintly like that that chemical smell but it’s starting to dissipate.
I am happy I got it cause it was a good price. It was the large size and it does what it needs to do.

Hey, if you need it you need it. This is the kind of thing that is practical and does the trick. It is fine and keeps us from slipping on our area rug. Hooray!

I’ve purchased several types of sticky rug backings for 2 runners by my bed and based on my experience, I don’t recommend using any sticky products. Twice, two different products ruined my runners when I went to remove a backing; each time the products pulled out pieces of my rug through the back. These products are also a pain when lifting the rug to clean a floor or when trying to clean the rug itself. That said, this pad is perfect. My rugs don’t slip, I can lift the rug and pad easily when cleaning. The pads are thick but not too thick that the rug sticks up. My suggestion is to cut the pad shy of the rug size so the pad doesn’t stick out. I’ve attached pictures of the rug pad and my new rug. Good luck!

Bought this to keep my door mat from sliding. It’s better but still slides when the dog walks over it. It was easy to measure and cut. The gripper isn’t gripping the mat either – I have had to tape it to the mat. For awhile, I had 2 things sliding on the floor. Since I taped it to the mat, it’s better but still not quite as “grippy” as I had hoped
