This thermometer does the job effectively, and I’ve found myself using it for almost everything in the kitchen. Whether I’m grilling salmon, roasting chicken, or checking the temperature of liquids, it provides accurate readings every time. The ambidextrous backlit display is a great feature, making it easy to read the temperature in any lighting condition.
I will say that the manual was a bit confusing at first. It took me a little while to figure out all the features and settings, but once I got the hang of it, the thermometer became an indispensable tool in my kitchen. One thing I particularly appreciate is the motion-sensing feature that automatically turns the display on when you pick it up. It’s a small touch, but it adds to the convenience.
I did notice that temperatures can fluctuate slightly, especially when measuring something over a longer period. However, the lock feature is fantastic for this—it allows you to hold the highest temperature reading without having to stare at the display the entire time. Overall, despite the minor learning curve, I really like this thermometer, and it’s become a go-to gadget in my cooking routine.

This a simple but effective device which is supposedy waterproof. However, providing a small screw driver to access an unsealed battery compartment seems unecessary, when a simple clip cover would make battery replacement much easier. Although the sensor probe may be waterproof, the battery compartment of this device is not. The device body is not designed to be completely immersed in water, although it can be washed off either by wiping or running water. It is also not to be placed for any length of time within a BBQ! I does have a lot of nice features though, including virtually automatic measurement and delayed shut-off. And, as these things can drift over time, it has a simple calibration procedure anyone with ice and water can perform. All in all, if handled properly, it’s a cost effective solution for safe cooking.

This is my 4th digital thermometer and they all worked but had annoyances, until now! This one is perfect! Open it and it turns on, backlit, remembers your last preference on temperature scale, reads accurately VERY quickly and exactly at the tip. I can poke one hole and measure the top/middle/and bottom of the meat with confidence. Highly recommend!

This is our go to meat thermometer. We have one stuck to the stove, the grill, the microwave in the RV and the grill in the RV. They are inexpensive and work fantastic! I love that they have a magnet on the back so you can leave them exactly where you need them. The display is easy to read and there is a cheat sheet on the back for proper meat temps. We like it so much we keep buying them for family and friends when we go to their house’s for dinner and see that they don’t have one yet.

For the price point, you won’t find a better thermometer. When comparing it to one of my other, it seemed to be more accurate, and read the temp faster. I love how it has a backlight that you can use to help see at night as well. Seems to be durable, as I stick it to my grill with the built in magnets (slick feature). It’s thin enough to keep it out of the way, but long enough to reach into the back corners of my grill while still keeping my hands out of the way enough to not get burned.
