It works great, easy to use. No fighting with it to stay on the can and the gears turn perfectly. Very smooth to operate. The arms are strong and don’t give or feel like they are buckling with a heavier can. Great product, great price. Way better than the other can openers I have had! (And they have been “brand name”)

Love this can opener. It is quick and easy to use even with my arthritic hands. I love the color too! It seems durable but I don’t imagine it will last as long as the old red handled type of opener. I like it for its price point but when I need to buy a new one I will most likely go with the heavy duty old fashioned ones. Not that this one isn’t good, it is but just won’t last forever like the old ones. But then what does last like things used to. Love it but four stars as longevity is uncertain. Still it’s a good opener and I would recommend it especially over some of the other models out there.

I am a man, a frugal man. Our old can opener broke when I used it to try to crack open a coconut. I bought a cheap new can opener from the dollar store…big mistake. I was threatened several times with the jagged can lids after it mutilated the cans.
I found this Gorilla Grip can opener on Amazon and at the price point it was a must buy!
It is ergonomic, works smooth, easy to use and has removed any threat of violence from our marriage!
The only down side is that now she loves opening cans so much that I have been living on soup, baked beans and canned vegetables!

This is a simple classic designed can opener. I can not say how long it will last. However, the build quality seems to be solid. The grip is good and for the first few uses it works well at least. At anything under 20.00 price tag id say this is worth it.

I bought a new can opener because I have 2 and one opens some cans and the second one, other cans. Well, this new can opener, opens my dog food cans that have a self clip to open it but I can not do it that way because I need to get all the meet at once like a can shape.
