We tried vinegar and soap, red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, fly tape and more with minimal success. This product worked awesome- highly recommend and I love that it’s safe for my toddler as well

I live in the Midwest where gnats are an annoying common occurrence. I saw an ad on television for Zevo bug catchers. So off to the great Amazon I go to research, read reviews, etc. I found this product very similar to the advertisement, read some reviews, and decided due to the low price, id give this product a shot, not expecting very much. Within 24 hours of plugging this in, I was amazed. Multiple gnats caught. The system is easy to set up, has a nice (but not too bright) light to attract bugs. Came with a refill sticky that I have not had to change yet. I only purchased one of these thinking if it worked I would purchase a second for another room in the house, but after putting the first one up, but we haven’t had the need for a second! Highly recommend. Have already shared to my family and friends.

I have had troubles with gnats and different flying insects. We live at the river and our door is always opening and closing so everything comes in. These have been a huge help. I have one in the kitchen ( the door we use most often) and in the pantry ( slash utility room) and they work amazingly. The stickiness last a long time and the light works as an attractant.

My husband and I have quite the collection of houseplants going on. We recently had a huge unexpected surge of those little brown gnats that hang around plants and pelt you in the face, especially in our bathroom with a south facing window, which doubles as a houseplant retreat when they look like they need a little sunlight infusion. We also have had a smaller, but still annoying, surge in our bedroom, which also has houseplants in it. Yesterday I decided I’d had enough and bought what I originally thought was a totally bougie and unnecessary purchase, these little light traps. Why would I spend almost $30 on two little plugins when there are so many alternatives?
BECAUSE:
-These are nowhere near as hideous and gross looking as regular fly traps. You do not see the flies until you remove them and they are small and sleek looking.
-They attract the bugs with light, so I don’t have to just hope that the bugs wander into the trap.
-They are chemical free which is important to me with an extremely curious toddler in the house. We also tried home remedies like soapy water and apple cider vinegar to no avail, just a stanky vinegary bathroom, these have no smell and actually work.
-They are super easy to install, you just peel the backing off the card, slide it into the unit, plug it in and let it do its thing.
-It’s silent, you’re only aware of it because of the light, which my husband didn’t love, but he doesn’t love gnats pelting him in the face more, so we’ll take it.
-It is super easy to clean and dispose of, it’s not unruly like regular fly traps.
I didn’t want to spend money on this initially and put it off till I couldn’t stand it anymore, I wish I had just bought them earlier. They are amazing.
I’ve seen some complaints about these not treating the root cause of the problem/gnats and flies coming back. Obviously, these won’t kill eggs or prevent other bugs from coming into your house. But blaming the product for that is like buying a treadmill and then complaining that though it did help you exercise and did exactly what it said it would do, it didn’t stop you from overeating your favorite junk foods. This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. These photos are from one night, less than 12 hours, the difference is noticeable in our house. We assumed it would be more effective at night because it’s the only light source attracting the bugs. This may be my favorite purchase of 2024.
My only complaint is that there is some kind of residue on the plug in itself which smears the printed on label, is a bit sticky and left black fingerprints around(last picture). It came off when I washed my hands but this was annoying. This happened before we even touched the sticky paper, so we know it’s an issue with the actual plugin unit. Still worth it to us.

… can *any* device or method work perfectly? I sure haven’t found any….
I use mine to eradicate the fruitflies hanging around my kegerator. I also use an extension cord, rather than plugging directly into the wall plug.
I use it face up, and super close to the area I need it to work in. Ive been running it for about a week and should probably replace the “trap” now, but I’ll wait another week just to see if it’ll last that long and still be useful.
A lot of these reviews are pretty drastic on both sides of the spectrum, but my experience has been about what I expected. I’ll continue to use it until a friend/relative suggests something else that actually works. But my days of searching and trying to find a better one is over. I’m content with the performance of this one.

Wow! After my kids had left our back door open for 2 hours on accident and had let in gnats and all kinds of stuff in, I had just gotten the Amazon package, that morning, so I plugged it in, and within half an hour, there were already 10 nats on the sticky pad. This thing really works! You can even tilt the fly trap to the left and to the right in case you have it plugged in in a weird spot. The sticky pad is on the card that you see that is plugged into the top. It’s very easy to get in and out. The light is perfect. It’s not too bright and not to faint. It actually would be a perfect night light, on top of its main job of catching gnats, etc. very great price, I just wish you would have came with more than two of the glue cards. Otherwise, I’m totally impressed! Your product kicks butt!

Me ha funcionado súper bien, no siempre salva de que piquen los moscos pero eventualmente si los atrapa, gran producto, ya no quiero ninguna otra luz de noche

Llegaron en mal estado las trampas de pegamento; estaban pegadas una con otra

Works at trapping the small flies from the indoor plants. Looks pretty good and has a blue glow when plugged in to attract the bugs. I like the look better than the yellow sticky strips that I previously have used .

This product works so much better than I expected. It attracts more flying insects than I thought I had in my kitchen. Since I’ve bought this product several of my friends and family have bought it too. Very pleased with the convenience and cleanliness of this product.

We’ve had these up in our kitchen for about a month.
Pros: Nowadays they seem to be catching several fruit flies and are effectively reducing our fruit fly problem.
Cons:
-They take a while to start trapping flies or the flies are sensitive to the trap location or something.
-The light is awfully bright, it’s unpleasant to even accidentally look at. I’m unsure how necessary it is for it to be this bright. This also really depends on the height of your outlets.
-If you have long hair, you can accidentally get it stuck in the trap 🙁
Overall it’s useful and you have to be patient with it but don’t expect it to solve everything– take care of your food waste and clean your drains if you can.
