I ordered a men’s size 12 because I wear an 11 1/2 wide shoe. I estimate the slipper I got was a size 9 or 10 regular width. It was too narrow for me to wear–perhaps because I have a wide foot–but it was also too short.
That said, the person I gave the slippers to loves them. The sole is thick and comfortable, with solid support but plenty of cushion. They’re fine for walking outdoors, even over rocks and gravel, as long as the surface is flat and stable (on inclines or unsteady ground the slippers can slip off).
They are heavier than most slippers.
