I bought these for my dad because I was tired of him always having me on speaker. I was iffy because they were on sale, and the reviews were mixed. I’m not sure what they were talking about because the battery life is crazy long for both case and the buds. The sound quality is clear. The mic works very well although it does pickup background noise. Overall, great value for the price. I can’t get him off the phone now that he has them!

Fine but not the best , expected more clarity

The noise cancelation works well. Like it that the earbuds was designed to “lock” inside your ears & don’t drop off easily. Charging cable in orange colour. Good idea to allow me to identify the right charging cable.

Bought to replace my previously owned model the JBL Tune 230NC that I think jumped out of my pocket at a gas station one evening. I hope someone found them and got some use out of them but probably just got run over and thrown away. In my estimation this JBL Tune Flex model is inferior to those earlier ones in every way except for lightness and battery life. On their own merits they are decent non-apple airpods. Get them for an upgrade from stock hardware you may have. If you don’t have anything to compare them to they’re an ok all around performer. Compared to all the other JBL earbuds I’ve had over the last 10+ years these have the worst audio, surprisingly so. Really missing that good bass I’ve become accustomed to. Microphone pickup is ok for calls but aggressively cuts off quieter sounds. They feel fussy and prone to accidental touch input. Even the case is fussy and oddly sharp. At time of writing these are half the price of the earlier model and I can see why. Take some time to make sure these are properly fitted and use the JBL app to dial in the audio especially if you’re getting these for music or video.

I got hooked onto JBL headphones after a coworker recommended them to me and I am SO glad they did. I was looking for a new pair of earbuds that had actual noise-cancelling since my last pair didn’t have it (despite being advertised as having it) and I found these. This has great noise-cancelling (my parents hate it lol), ambient mode, and the ability to turn off noise-cancelling completely. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with these:
Pros:
– Has an app to control all of the settings of the earbuds (that actually works and connects)
– Can adjust to whether you have an open ear tip or sealing ear tip
– Has several adjustments for the level of noise-cancelling, including ambient aware mode and a “talk thru” mode so you can hear others talk without having to adjust your volume
– Adjustable equalizer
– Changeable controls for taps on the buds themselves
– Can adjust how much you want to hear yourself when you talk
– Options of audio vs video mode
– Adjustable left/right sound balance
– Voice assistant compatible
– Find My Buds service
– Power saving mode too
– Long battery life
Cons:
– Cannot change the sets of actions for tapping on the buds (only has Ambient Sound Control or Playback & Voice Assistant Control) which sucks since they don’t have actions for “next song”
– Adjustments for level of noise-cancelling is a bit confusing to me
– Not at all sensitive to touch so it can take a few tries to get the tap actions to work sometimes
I might be biased since I love JBL, but these are much better than previous earbuds I’ve invested in. They match the expectations of the price they’re set at and, for me, exceed them. I also got them on sale so it was even better. It’s well-worth every penny for buying them. The first time I used them with noise cancelling, I practically had a big O but for my ears. Add an herbal substance to the mix and you’re in music heaven. It sounds like the music is coming from inside your head and is all around you instead of the “yup, I’m wearing earbuds” feeling.
The fact that you can change the equalizer for different settings (and make your own) makes it even better since I like having my sound a certain way for music. It’s also incredibly easy to change. All of the features are pretty straight forward (except for the level of noise-cancelling thing) and easy to adjust. With the press of a button, you can change your entire audio experience to just the way you want it, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Overall, 100% worth the money and the time spent on adjusting the settings to what you want. This has to be the best pair of earbuds I’ve ever bought. The battery lasts a long time, it’s super customizable, and it’s easy to use. Love them. Definitely recommend.

They have a good look, great range, fast pairing and good sound. The noise cancelling works but the ear tips are all strange shaped and won’t fit very well, that makes it bad on the bus or plane background noise. Found a solution with the earbuds I passed on to my son, they are regular round tips and hold well on this JBL, now the noise cancelling actually works and they sound even better! Recommend as long as you have normal spare tips to substitute the good looking ones! Worth the 80CAD I paid for, would not buy for the normal price.

The fit took a little getting used to, it’s fine until I run or have to move my head as if looking between papers and a screen or something. The sound quality is pretty good for what it is and I really like the battery life that I’ve gotten so far. There are a few things that I don’t care for though.
I’m not sure if there’s a setting to change it, but anytime there’s wind or air movement the earbuds make a crackling sound. Not sure if they’re trying to cancel that noise out or what, but I work in a machine shop so we use air guns quite a bit and it’s less than desirable. The other thing is that after five months or so the right earbud stopped charging. I’ve cleaned the contacts on the earbud itself as well as the contact in the case but still can’t get it to charge, so now I just have one functioning earbud. I usually only have one in anyway, but I liked to alternate between the two sides to stretch battery life a little.
For the amount of money I spent on these, I definitely don’t regret buying them. However, I also would not buy them again unless they were on sale or a revised version came out because of the earbud that doesn’t work.

The sound is excellent, the functions too and it has its app so you can adjust it to your comfort as a user. The clean sound and above all the excellent presentation for those who want to listen to anything and disconnect from external noise. It comes with three models of rubber so you can choose the one that best fits your ear and the truth is that they are super comfortable too.
Excellent purchase.
