These are really cute and my wife loves them. They are made so well- I’m sure they’ll last forever. They are hard to put on because the rubber is stiff and rigid and I worry she may not use them as much because of this.

I’m really happy with these boots! I read a lot of negative reviews about the quality and fit, I have to say you could size up a half a size but a full size up would be to roomy they do run a little short in the toe but are not tight and are very flexible. As far as pulling them on it takes a little effort and has ample stretch and flexibility so it’s not hard and despite the reviews they are not tight or scratchy in the ankle, unless you have larger than normal size ankles. I wasn’t looking forward to getting these I thought for sure I was going to return them but I still tried anyway. I’m glad I did👍😃

Love me some Hunters! These boots are so beautiful in this Bitter Chocolate color. Almost look Black but in the light you can tell they are a very dark Brown. With that said, I must talk about the sizing to help someone else out who might be interested in this Chelsea boot. First off, I am a true Eight in shoe size. I own the Original Tall boots in Glossy Black, which I adore, but had to get a Seven in them. Even with Hunters furry boot socks I still have plenty of room! So, when I was interested in this Chelsea Boot I thought an Eight would be the perfect size! Well, no. The Eight did fit but was very tight. I had very little room for my toes (They would move forward and touch the top of the boot) They also were really hard to get on and off. Very tight around the ankle. Kinda felt like Anastasia or Drizella trying on the Glass Slipper! So, I ordered the same boot in a Nine to compare. The Nines are much more comfy. They are roomier and easier to get on and off. I have decided to return these Eights and keep the Nines. They may be a tad bigger but I am not sloshing around in them. Just more comfortable and with thick socks they are warm and toasty! So I guess with Hunters you just never know. But my recommendation for the Chelsea Boot would be to order ONE size up from your regular size. If you are a half size (say Eight and a half) I would still go for the next size up which would be the Nines because Hunters do not come in half sizes. I would think the Tens would be way too big. Hope this review helps!

I saw this Hunter Chelsea-style boot while on vacation in Iceland. I loved the boot, but the gift shop price was more than I wanted to spend.
Luckily, Amazon carried the boot in multiple colors. The least popular colors seem to be priced the lowest on Amazon. So I went with orange, since it was on sale—-at 65% off the price of the one I saw at the gift shop in Iceland.
The boots arrived today and I love them! They are comfortable and the soles are thick. The boots were exactly as pictured online, and identical to the boot that I had wanted.
The elastic flaps built in to the sides of the boot make it easy to pull on and off. There is also a tab at the back of the boot that provides good leverage to make slipping the boot on/off easier. The boot is totally waterproof.
I wear a size 5.5 or 6 US. I ordered a size 6 and it is a perfect fit, with enough room to accommodate wearing thick socks.
I plan to wear these boots on rainy days (would look nice with a pair of jeans).
This is a good buy! Good price. Genuine Hunter.

What can you say, they’re a great classic styled rubber boot.
I’m usually a men’s size 11-11.5 purchased the size 12 so I could use a thicker sock for warmth and thankfully there’s still just enough rm to stay comfy … what I would be sure of, to wear the right length sock or the will rub that exposed skin above your ankle which is no fun.
I have a med rise/arch foot, they slip on and off without too much struggle which is bloody fantastic.
Best of all, the sole is made of a premium textured thicker gage rubber allowing one to walk in comfort without feeling the sensation of what’s underfoot along one’s journey.
