This product helped the clarity, the chlorine levels. I shock my pool twice a week and every-time I test my pool it comes back great! I have a 1,700 gallon pool so I get several uses out of this bag.

The product worked, however there were no instructions on the package on how much to use for smaller pools… The package indicated it would treat a 13,500 pool, which was WAY larger than my 700-gallon stock tank pool, thus the four-star rating. I had to do some calculations and started out with a tablespoon, which after 24 hours was not enough. I added more which was still not enough after 24 hours. I finally, ended up using 1/3 of the bag which did the trick. My stock tank pool’s interior has pond shield on it and there doesn’t appear to be any damage to it. I did have to run my Intex pump with filter for over 20 hours (changing the filter three times during this period) as even though the green was gone, the water was still very cloudy. The box contains six bags which should be enough to last me many years as we rarely get a lot of rain during the summer (like we just did which caused the pool to go green!)

This shock works great and is my preferred brand. The multiple packages are great so I don’t have to have a large amount of open chlorine. Works great to keep algae out and keeps the water levels consistent. Would recommend

Easy to use. Our pool was starting to show signs of algae growth along the pool walls so my husband needed to shock it. We’ve purchased shock through our local Lowe’s but this time decided to go with Amazon as we felt like it was at a lower rate which is a win for us. We shock our 10,000 gallon pool weekly running the pump for 12 hours as we add other chemicals too. It leaves the water sparkling clean and always makes me want to jump in the following day because the water looks so nice. I say that it last about a week before having to re-shock or depending on how often pool is used.

I like that the smell was strong that’s when you know it’s working at its best , water clarity was on point after using, quality good,size was great I can get 3 uses out of it for my Jacuzzi,worth it, it’s cleans fast within minutes, also helps take slim away. Thanks 😊
