This is a solid and sturdy retractable hose reel. The hose itself is nicer than my pressure washer’s hose which makes this unit extremely valuable. I have it mounted on a fence post that is anchored to the house so it’s super easy to just pull up the pressure washer, hook everything up and I’m ready to go. All my vehicles are ceramic coated so foam cannon and hand washes are a must – no more wash tunnels so this setup has made things much more efficient.

I acquired the Giraffe Tools Pressure Washer Hose Reel (60ft, 4000 PSI, Dark Silver) to organize my pressure washing setup and reduce the hassle of dealing with tangled hoses. After using it for several weeks, I can say it’s a well-designed and reliable piece of equipment.
What I liked: The reel itself feels very solid and well-built, and the 60-foot hose included is also of good quality. It handles high pressure without any issues and retracts smoothly into the reel. The design looks sleek and industrial, which fits nicely in my garage setup.
What else you should consider: One important thing to note, the entire unit with the hose is quite heavy. I strongly recommend mounting it directly into wall studs. I wouldn’t trust drywall anchors or any alternative mounting method for something this heavy, especially once the hose is fully extended and under tension. Mounting into studs made a big difference in stability and safety.
Overall, this is a heavy-duty hose reel that delivers on performance and durability. Just make sure you have a solid plan for mounting it securely.

We mounted this reel in our garage and it’s made pressure washing so much cleaner and faster. The steel body feels tough, and the hose locks smoothly at any length before retracting gently with no whipping. It’s rated for 3200 PSI and comes with fittings that work with most electric washers. I’ve had water hose reels and air hose reels, but having a good reel for my pressure washer makes it feel like I have a real car wash at the house. The retraction is string and has little to no slack in it. It is easily mountable, but be sure to either use anchors or appropriately sized lag screws in a solid wood supports. The swivel is smooth and the hose feels strong as well. I use it with an 2900bpsi electric pressure washer and it is a dream to clean with. Good, inexpensive reel.
