We love a chuck roast with chunky salsa and green chilis…no water…in the crockpot for several hours and then shredding the meat for tacos. This product shredded the meat in less than 5 minutes. Please let me influence you to purchase this chicken shredding gadget! I was floored by its performance. Perfectly shredded nearly three pounds of cooked chicken in about 6.5 minutes – that’s six large, boiled chicken breasts straight from the pot, with a few seconds of seasoning the shredded meat between each breast used in the product. The shredded meat released easily and did not stick in the “lid/top” as I anticipated it would.
Assembly was fast and very simple. It washed beautifully in the top rack of the dishwasher.
I am curious to see how it would perform on chicken breasts that have been cooked and refrigerated prior to being placed in the product. If I ever try that, I will update this review to include that information.
Quality product for a reasonable price, and with Amazon’s fast shipping, I highly recommend this product.
