Strange that the container is only half full. It would save space and probably company cost to use an appropriate size container.
I just applied it to my outdoor plants that will need to come inside for the winter. I didn’t have obvious insect problems but just like to apply systemic insect control before I bring plants into the house. So, can’t answer whether the product is effective. So, I chose 3 stars not for the effectiveness.

This is my first time buying this and it seems to be working. Two of my plants were looking like something was eating them but I didn’t see any bugs. Its been over a month since use and I no longer see dropping leaves and strange leaf dents and marks. No smell. Be careful as the granules are really tiny.

The best product I’ve found to kill fungus gnats.

I bought this specifically for my battle with fungus gnats that literally exploded out of a MG soil bag! They got into every plant 50+ plants! I tried everything! The Bonide and yellow stickies are The best combo. You Have to be diligent ! The 3 week life cycle is eternal. After 4 months Down to just a few here and there! Hoping one more treatment does it! Worth every penny

I sent the first one back as the shipping seal under the lid seemed to be open already and the bottle was only 1/3 full. I received another one and it’s exactly the same. It says it’s filled by weight, not volume which is fine, but I’m not used to receiving containers that are 2/3 empty.
I used the product and it did a great job of killing the bugs on my houseplants.

My houseplants were all infected with gnats. After spraying this, the annoying bugs started disappearing. It does not have any unpleasant smell and safe to use for house with pets.

I struggled this summer with gnats all over my indoor plants. I tried repotting, hydrogen peroxide, neem oil, that deet stuff (I can’t fully remember), and cinnamon but they always kept coming back. Since I used this once, I have seen very few gnats in the gnat traps I have and I no longer see them flying around. It definitely made a huge difference and I’m sure it will completely eliminate them when it’s time for the second treatment

Regardless of whether you are upset about the amount of product in the bottle or not…if you use this product once you will be glad you did and you won’t worry about product volume anymore!
Besides, the product is so easy to use and it works! Also if you read the label it says that it “protects” new plant growth up to 8 weeks. This means that you will have to reapply to continue killing any bugs as the effectiveness has decreased.
I have been experimenting with some plants in my garden. I took several new young plants that were about a week old and treated them with the product. This is where I kinda like the over sized bottle myself, taking the cap completely off, using a plastic throw away spoon, I get just a very small pinch on the spoon and feed it to the seedlings. I am talking about a literal “pinch”. The smaller the better, as you will retreat in a a week or so when the plants get strong enough to handle it.
At this time, when the plants are tougher and I have transplanted them into at least a one gallon container, I give them maybe an eighth or less of a teaspoon. I am trying to use as little as possible to get the job done.
So far the treated plants are now about eight weeks old and I have no aphids of nasty gnats, spider mites or Thrips!
