These are my second pair of Birks. My other pair is the Myari style. I find this pair runs wider than the Myari. I’m using the smallest holes on my shoes to keep my sandals from falling off my feet. I have small feet so this is not a big deal to me. These sandals are extremely comfortable and I was able to break these in maybe 3 days of wearing around the house. I developed the habit of wearing them around the house so I’m favoring them over my LLBean slippers. I’m seriously considering purchasing a pair for my husband. He has horrible feet and the soles are really great at molding to the foot.

I have plantar fasciitis, so it is very hard for me to find comfortable shoes, especially sandals. Birkenstocks are pretty well known for their arch support and durability so I was excited to try them out, even though the price was a little higher than I would normally have paid for sandals. So far I have only used these as house slippers and they have been very comfortable both with and without socks. There was some break-in time but it wasn’t that bad and they seem to be getting more comfortable the more I wear them. It will be interesting to see how they hold up once I am able to wear them outside in the spring, but the build quality seems very solid, so I’m not too worried. Overall I think this was a very good purchase. The price tag is high but they are very versatile and comfortable so it will be worth ie if they hold up for a couple of years.

Love these sandals! I got some pretty mixed information on the size from the other reviews, so I asked my sister, who owns the same style and has the same foot size as me, and she told me to order one size down from what I would have ordered. I’m glad I asked, because one size down from my normal shoe size fits me perfectly. The width is a little bit wider than normal shoes, but I expected that based on the other reviews. I ordered the normal width, and I’m fine with it, since the buckles are adjustable.
The shoes were very slightly uncomfortable my first day wearing them (granted, I walked in them all day right after I took them out of the box), but after adjusting the buckles and wearing them for awhile, they are now the most comfortable pair of sandals I own. The support in the footbed is amazing, and the gray upper material is neutral enough to go with a variety of outfits. I also love the synthetic leather material and the antique-looking buckles.

Money well spent! I love my burks, I can never stop buying more. Most comfortable shoe ever! Plus they last forever as well which I love!
