The color look faded, not solid brown. I got the soft bed/regular fit and only took one week to break into. I am a size 8 US in open toe shoes, based on reviews I decided to ordered size 38 on the these Birkenstocks which makes it a size 7 US. The fit was on point with no extra space on the back, which I was pleased. 4 stars because of the fade. Overall, I am excited with my first pair of Birkenstocks: )

I was very happy to get leather Birks at such a great price! I’m still in the breaking in phase. Some Birk upper materials take more time to break in (like this rather stiff leather), but give it time. Wear socks if the leather chafes. Also pay attention to the strap length, which is adjustable. The same Birk quality and consistency of design. I have owned several pairs for decades.

Got my Birkenstocks as promised. Love the fit, feel, and color. Absolutely my favorite shoe ever. These are my third pair.
Best: real leather upper, suede where my foot goes.

Just buying another pair, since I enjoy these sandals so much. They are the best for my foot problem (metatarsalgia). Plus they were delivered earlier than expected.

I need a hard-soled shoe with robust arch support. Always had a little disdain for that “Name Brand” trendiness thing, so always have ignored the Birkenstock brand; seemed to me like paying for the name more than anything else. After trying a pair of REALLY expensive custom orthotic slides from my chiropractor that were “okay”, I figured, let’s try a pair of Birks just for the hell of it since the “expense” of the Birks was WAY less than the custom orthotics. The custom orthotics were promptly returned. Because these are so good. I wear these the minute I get up in the morning until I go to bed. Only drawback is that they’re completely impractical in the snow. Go figure.

Do not use the official Birk sizing chart. They always run larger. I’d recommend trying them on in-person, I wear a 7.5-8 and wear a 38. Also there is a sliggt break-in period, but after they are the most comfortable shoes! Love the quality of this color. Ordered the leather over suede because of longevity, but well worth the brand-name price.
