Wow! They fit! I am pleasantly surprised with the Birkenstock sneaker. After MANY foot surgeries the only shoes I can wear pain free are Birkenstock sandals—so I am constantly searchIng for anything other than a sandal.
These sneakers are super cute, they are relatively comfortable, have good arch support, are just a tad stretchy but still offer enough support without causing pain. I won’t wear them for long periods of time or for walking long distances but they work well enough for going out to eat, running a few errands, etc….They also help me feel a little ‘fashion current’ and not ‘old lady convalescence home Velcro close-ish’. Just take a minute to look up “comfort shoes” and you will see exactly what I mean! 😋

The sneaker is good looking, comfortable and for me there was no breaking in period but I realized that some Birkenstock clients need to wear the shoes/sandals for a short time before they mold to the foot. I am a big believer in wearing good shoes in order to take care of our feet and Birkenstock always comes through because of the construction. Yes, they cost more but last forever if you take care of them ( water is the enemy ) and I own many pairs because the styles are attractive as well as the comfort. I walk a minimum of 3 miles every day and these sneakers do the trick.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I own now. The leather was stiff the first week I couple days but now it’s confirmed to my foot and the footbed is just like the sandals. Love them.

Liked the shoes but the sizing is wrong. They were listed as a men’s 10/10.5 and the sizing guide said 10/10.5 are a 41. When they arrived, they were clearly a 42. Thankfully they were only a little big.

So far these shoes are doing what I’d hoped: not adding further to my problem feet. They’re cut like Birkenstocks, and my toes have lots of room — nice! My husband actually thinks they’re cute; they do look a little like baby shoes. : ) I like the look, plus the quality of all-leather shoes. Worth the $ outlay; may buy more in different colors if the comfort continues.

I hesitated for a while to purchase these but I am glad I did. Birks are the only shoes I can comfortably wear with plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately I can’t wear sandals everywhere but now I can wear Birkenstocks. Foot bed was nice out of the gate. It did take a day to get the upper formed but it was still soft. I did order a size up and I’m glad I did. Plenty of wiggle room.
