I’m so pleased with these curtains! This past weekend we jumped to 95°F—30 degrees hotter than usual—so I finally hung them up, and they seriously kept my house dark and cool. I could practically hear my central AC take a breather, which means I’m probably saving on electricity.
They worked so well that I immediately ordered another set for the other side of my long window to complete the matching look. I was hesitant about going black at first—everything else in my decor is neutral—but I love how they look. Not only do they add a bold touch, but they also seem to block out more light simply because they’re dark. They feel lightweight but at the same time aren’t so lightweight that they feel cheap. They are great quality! They also seemed to unfold in the package with no wrinkles so they appear to be wrinkle resistant!
Overall, these curtains have paid for themselves in comfort (and lower AC bills). Great value and a total win for summer and daytime movie stay-ins!
Update: I ordered another set to make my long window complete. I have a nearby window in the dining room which is why there is light in the room with the curtains closed. But the light difference is frantic!! I’ll be ordering more so I can black out that other side too. I absolutely love it!!!

The curtains are quite nice. They look and feel like they were well made too. Only small gripe is that you can see light through it a bit, which actually gives it kind of an interesting look, sort of like a starry sky. It still blocks most the light despite this however.

Good quality, easy to put on and move side to side due to grommet top design, successful in light blocking. Fabric claims to be noise-reducing, does have a thick quality to it. Perfect for child’s room to ensure long restful sleep during nap time. Light blocking curtains work best with dark color to also keep home cool during the summer.

We have a modest (i.e., old equipment) home theater in our partially finished, walkout basement w/ slider. It’s an 86″ (?) screen + 1080p projector setup circa 2008. I like 1080p for movies, and the projector is still fine, but light control is a big issue – it needs to be dark. Long story short, these curtains worked perfectly fine in that regard for blocking light. Very happy with the light blocking performance.
Otherwise, the curtains were well made (no imperfections), were easy to hang, looked nice (lovely color in navy blue), and had no wrinkle problems. I’m not quite sure on the insulation performance yet (have to wait until winter), but the fabric seems fairly heavy duty – I’m hopeful they will help keep things warm.
Overall, these are nice looking, wrinkle-free, easy-to-hang curtains that work very well for light blocking. Excellent value considering it’s a pack of 2 panels.
